Mark McNairy for Keds... By Saul Wilks
Another pair of shoes racked up... I've been spying these Mark McNairy Keds for ages, they went down to 30 bar on End for a day so I pulled the trigger, and rightly so. Quality pair of shoes, probably more suited for the summer months than Winter granted, but I'm well happy with them.
There's something very preppy about these, something laid back and cool. The red brick sole compliments the tan canvas really nicely and they just look neat and tidy - perfect for a laid back look in Summer or whatever.
All in all a pretty snappy purchase, though that's it now as far as footwear's concerned for a while. Probably.

New shoes Sir?...By Saul Wilks
With some of the ridiculous price tags on clothing and footwear alike, it's always good to know that classics like Clarks keep it realistic with a more modest price range. I'm a big fan of suede shoes at the minute, shunning the opportunity to buy myself a pair of boots for the Winter to instead perk up my footwear rotation with the likes of the above, Clarks Originals Desert Khan.
I nipped into Number 6 while in London last week and decided to treat myself, which last year would have probably meant me splashing three hundred quid on a jacket. I like to keep my feet a little more on the ground these days, so £69 for these was more than enough to put a satisfied smile on my face and it's easy to see why. These shoes are ace, full stop.
Woolrich Woolen Mills bargain, again... By Saul Wilks
The Woolrich Woolen Mills gods must love me. I've had some proper royal bargains of late from this label and continued the good fortune by notching up this trail parka for a nice round oner a couple of days ago. I'm played out for jackets for the rest of the year and have been warned off buying anymore by my girlfriend (which can only mean she's got me something ace) but for a hundred smackers, who could resist? Not me, obviously.

Friday night is music night..... by Shaun Dangerfield.
Few sound's to chill you out this Friday night, don't want anybody getting emotional now..... just chilled.
First up is a hot unreleased effort of Odyssey's "Inside Out", jam packed full of love, soul & flavour it's one for you to reach first base with after a nice bath, sleazing it right up but keeping a sensual edge because you don't want it to get too heated just yet, do you?
Next up are the Chi-Lites presenting you with a funky soul based number in "The Devil is doing his work" with your man Disco-Tech on edit duty, a second stage record to heat it up a bit and get thing's burning.
Keeping thing's tight and close while simmering gently and on third base are The Commodores with "Goin to the bank" keeping thing's tightly fused with a base riddled funky jam, if this track doesn't get you to the sexual health clinic for a check up then there's no hope for you.......
Last up MagneticSoul's East side slut another work in progress unreleased track, this is nice and deep for your Friday..... you do like it deep don't you ? I thought you did, just by the way you looked at me with that twinkle in your eye.....

Incoming.... by Shaun Dangerfield.
I like a nice hat, and seeing as my other deerstalker has seen better day's I thought why not.
In a cracking oatmeal tweed I intend to wear it purely as a thinking cap, much like the chap Holmes illustrated above.
Good honest head wear.
I will run myself a nice bath, get my extra large smoking pipe and blow bubbles around my bathroom while wearing it.

Next up a nice present from my nearest & dearest, a firm favourite in my wardrobe.... Post Overalls.
Mid blue lightweight cruzer, I've taken a photo with the flash and a few without as it's different colour shades in different light.
Enough pocket's to store my mind in on a decent session which is essential.

Belfast's The Bureau..... by Shaun Dangerfield.
It's all a bit samey isn't it, you can trawl through various internet web shop's or in store and you see the same thing's.
So to step outside of that and have somewhere choose and stock their clothing for the right reason's as opposed to simply hype is nice to see, and once you have sifted through all the bull s**t of what they want to tell you on the different site's how many are actually left that are worth browsing and shopping with ? I can probably count them on one hand but right up there for me is The Bureau in Belfast.
Their choice of label's are draped in character and soul and are rich in style. Quality clothing as opposed to high end fashion which is something I share. I don't want the next big thing for 6 month's I want a quality product to help build a continuous wardrobe, thing's that get better with age and don't fall out of fashion because they were never in fashion, just quality in term's of material, design, cut and item's that I love wearing.
And you get that with The Bureau, stocking Post Overall's, Nigel Cabourn, ts(s), Anachranorm, Nanamica, Gitman bros vintage and many other's including their own young label Merchant's and Missionaries providing a host of Shirt's and fine knit.
They always take time out to reply to your mail's or question's and their customer service is second to none.
Take a look at them here if you have not done so yet, or a refresher if it's been a while......

No amount of word's can take the place of visual's so I've got a few choice photo's from them that I've enjoyed looking at this year......
