I dragged myself out of bed this morning at the unearthly hour of half 6, anticipating some frosty ground and some nice opportunities to take a few pictures. The sun was just coming up and all seemed well, however, the sun slowly but surely crept back in and was in turn replaced by grey overcast cloud cover. Mission abandoned and one very tired Mr Wilks climbed back into bed.
Fast forward a few hours and I'm ready to go out exploring, armed with my trusty camera to hopefully get some decent snaps. It's deliciously cold outside at the moment, so what more excuse do I need to get dressed to suit? I've been waiting for this cold weather patiently...
