Winter will soon be upon us... Ace. Nothing more i love than getting togged for those winter morning walks and adventures when the night comes knocking around 4pm. Don't get me wrong, i love the summer months just as much... But Winter is about the big coats and scarfs... The breath in front of your face and the rest of the Xmas card stereotype scenarios.With this in mind, I've truly got my eye on Penfields Tweed trail jacket, due for release in September. I love tweed and woven fabric outwear. I've never been able to find a replacement for my now long gone Clark and Teller / Berghaus collaboration Criac jacket (shown below) which i once upon a time owned in the timeless oatmeal check.
A blinding piece of kit for when the weather threatened to turn you into a rather dapper snowman, hopefully the Penfield effort will go towards replacing a quite frankly, un-replaceable bit of clobber and live up to my exceeding expectations.Saul Wilks.
